That’s one of the things I like about travel – it’s a chance to disprove your prejudices.

I think one of the worst things we do (especially me) is to blame ourselves for other people’s emotions. For example, if an acquaintance hurries by without greeting me I wonder what I did to bother them.

It’s all in the ego I suppose, since the most likely scenario is that they were so immersed in their own problems that they didn’t even notice little old me:)
